If I try to convert a a case into a work order, I always get this error:

An incident type is required to convert a request into a work order.

I can't find any fields like 'incident type'  in the showed form.

what did I miss?

    Hi SwissMountains,

Which app you are using in D365?

If you are using 'Field Service' or 'Sales' apps, you can access the field in default form.

In Field Service tab of case Form, you can see the incident type lookup field, then you can provide a value in this lookup and convert the case to work order.

If you are using other apps, you can follow Bipin's advice and add the field to the case form used by that application.

Or you can add one OOB form named 'Case' to the app you are using:

    Hi,

You can navigate to make.powerapps.com - Select Environment from top ribbon - Dataverse -Tables - Case - Form - Add Incident type field on your form.

You can also use classic designer to add Incident type field on your Case form
