Print Word Template

We have been experimenting with Word Templates to replace the SSRS reports so it would be easier to modify and create new reports. A major concern is that the word templates are downloaded each time, then the user would print it through MS Word. Is there a way to bypass the downloading and have it just automatically print the template instead?

Hi Raphael,

In 2020 Release Wave 2 there will be a new experience when using word templates. Users can click the Export to PDF button which doens't require them to download the doc before printing. More details in my article here: https://d365goddess.com/dynamics-365-2020-release-wave-2-part-1/
