I have had a few instances where a screen gets lost or is somehow pushed or placed in another room through a wall or floor. Is there a way to recall these windows to their original position within arms reach?
if you are using unmanaged solution and you have the backup customization solution, then you could store all changes through reimport your solution.
I’m not sure I understand any of this.
Where are you making this js change?
The voice command "Remote Assist UnPin" will cause the main remote assist screen to unpin itself and move within arms reach of the user, regardless of its current location.
For other items that have been placed in the users space, such as annotations, or images/pdfs etc those items are not easy to move to within arms reach unless the user can see them. There are voice commands for manipulating these panels, but it requires that you can place the Hololens cursor on the panel, so if it is lost and not visible, these commands will not work. But for the main remote assist window, the above solution should allow you to capture the missing main panel, no matter where it is.
This might be worked out with a "Task View" voice command similar to the task view button in Windows 10. (Maybe they are developing this right now but it is not announced?)I have a feedback that was submitted on this issue but it has no upvotes, https://aka.ms/AAbmhjs
Best wishes
