In standard operation, periodic emails are configured for newsletter-type sendings to process all contacts at a regular interval during the active period of the journey.
My client's need is to be able to use this periodic customer journey for daily sendings depending on the status of these contacts.
Is it possible the periodicity for this type of emails?

What is the status of the contact you refer to? Is it a field in the Contact entity?
If so, you can add the status into the condition of a segment to filter the exact contacts which you want to send the periodic emails to.
