Domain name rename in Dynamics Ax 2012

Hello,

Does anybody have any experience with a domain rename and dynamics ax 2012? Long time ago we used a single domain label to create our domain. We would like to rename our domain to company.local Anybody know of any guides? I believe user SID's will remain the same. What would be the best route? Backup and reinstall everything or changes can be made to make it work? What other changes will be necessary on dynamics ax 2012 after domain rename?

I would guess it should be handled in the same way as moving AX to completely new domain. There are some blogs and discussions about such cases, here's one: dynamicsessentials.net/.../
