Reassign records only reassigns accounts

Hi,

We have some users where we want to reassign all the records related to them. I have an administrator role and are reassigning their records from their user account.

The problem I am facing is that it is reassigns all the accounts. But contacts, opportunities, tasks, etc are not reassigned, this general reassign should work I think for all entities.

Any thoughts why this isn't working?

Hi Paul，

You need check relationship behavior:

For example:

If you want to reassign related contacts when you reassign the account.

--Settings > Customizations > Customize the system.

--Expand Entities, Account > 1:N Relationship.

--Find and open the relationship with contact.

--Make sure that the 'Assign' is 'Cascade All'

Hi Leah,

This functionality is not what I need. I want to reassign all records of a specific user. Cascading is turned off because we have different contact owners than account owners. So we don't want cascading because we don't want to move all contacts of an account to the same owner.

So I just want all records of a specific user to be switched to another user.
