How to Delete Confirmed status PO

Hi I am new D365 ,I have a request to Delete PO and its related PR, PO status is Confirmed and PR status is Closed, usually what is the process of delete PO,

can I delete PR first and after that PO?

Hi.

If the PO has PR, you cant just delete the PO and vanish from D365.

You can of course reverse the PR and then cancel the PO from action pane.

Hi,Please can you explain more what is by reverse the PR how can i do it & if i do Purchase Order tab>Maintain>Cancel what will be happen >

Hi,

Go to Product receipt form->> Cancel the PR->> Then come back in the PO screen and Cancel the PO.

Cancel PO means it wont be used in future.

Hi Adil,

Since you have dependent transactions which is PR attached to PO, so it is not good idea to delete.

You can opt for cancel option. This will change status to Cancelled.

In future you will have reference also when you are analysing the data
