Is there any sample code for procedure SOP_Post_TRX

Hi Experts,

We want to get a quick solution for how to post a sales return by sanScript code in Dexterity. This is very urgent requirement from our customer. We found a close procedure SOP_Post_TRX in GP 16 SDK. But we don't know what should be passed in the parameter list. because there are some parameters we don't understand what meaning they are. Is there any expert can provide some sample code for how to use the procedure SOP_Post_TRX. It will very helpful for us now.

    You can not simply post from dexterity code, the parameters have some temp tables too and through out posting process there are references of forms has been used in default posting process, which may not exist if you will try to call the script from your window.

     

    You can automate posting from dex code with the help of macro.

    For posting from code, I strongly recommend you just go for Post Master,

    envisagesoftware.com/post-master-for-dynamics-gp

    ...let it deal with it for you.

    I've used it before, triggering it from a .NET solution I was working on, all the posting trickiness is taken away by it and it is a mature solution that has been in use for years, so your customer can have confidence in it.

    You can also use AutoPost.dll.

    Allows you to call a COM DLL to post Sales Order Processing, GL Transaction Entry, IV Transaction
    Entry and RM Cash Receipt Batches.
