Hi Expert,

I am running into a problem. I am working on Dynamics 365 Unified Interface.

I developed a solution in dev environment and I have to move to test environment.

I exported the solution from dev and imported in test environment. I am able to see the "All Solutions" list but I am not seeing in the "My Apps" page. Also I am not able to navigate to the newly imported page.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

    Hi Partner

In UCI, You have to create a model driven app and within that app you can add the components of the solution you have imported.

You can add forms, edit the sitemap into model driven app

    Hi Partner,

Yes it depends on what you have imported in solution, if its a form or entity then you have to make it include in your UCI App

On furture analysis I found that in my device entity I have 2 Active devices and 2 Inactive Devices View in my dev sandbox and I have only one of each in test sand box. I am trying to remove 1 each from my dev sandbox, I am not able to remove.

    HI,

Ideally these are OOB views. You don't have to create those views as it will be already there.

Add those views in solution and try to move to target instance.

Also you check for missing dependency before importing the solution.

Thank you Bipin for your response.

These views are duplicate in my dev sandbox. Its managed view. While exporting I am not getting any error.

I removed from solution.xml and tried to import. Now I am getting different error.

    Here is the screen shot:

This is the error I am getting: "

An error has occurred. Try this action again. If the problem continues, check the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Community for solutions or contact your organization's Microsoft Dynamics 365 Administrator. Finally, you can contact Microsoft Support.

    "

Can you please help me in resolving this?

    HI,

Could you please download log file and open it in excel. Go to second tab and look for the error.

If possible paste error here from downloaded log file excel.
