Hi, i am trying to build a windows mobile application and would like to create a new customer as well as want to update the data in one of the table.

i have achieved so far is below :

- Able to publish WSDL web services using AIF

- Able to host the services in IIS and its running

- Able to create the windows mobile application.

my question is now when i am trying to access the web services from a mobile simulator its throws an error because the web service requires domain credential , i would like to know is it possible to publish the web servies with no authentication required if so , what is the process in AIF as well as what all configuration or coding is required in AX as well as in IIS.

    I hardly think you would like to  allow an unauthenticated access to a web service which can create new customers and update some data in AX. See Security considerations for AIF Web services for details and best practices.

    Hi , You are absolutely right and i was able to solve the issue by passing the required authentication details with the proxy client, i was aware and did explain the same to client ....:)
