Does anyone know how to find this functionality? Updated to the latest version but cannot find it.
Customer very keen to have the ability to send out a calendar link to a session/event in an email and the only way we can find to do it at the moment is to create a segment and add the contact to a journey which is rather cluncky.
Should be available now according tot he monthly enhancements notes.
When I add this button it renders about 5 times in my test emails and none of them work despite the user being signed up to a session - does anyone know why this might be?
This saved hours of hair pulling!! And if anyone is looking in the future, above combined with the fact the button doesn't pull through on test sends anyway. Add yourself to a seed list and do it as a proper journey to test and it works.
I discovered that the "Add to Calendar" button will only display in emails when an event registration exists for that Contact for that event.
So first a contact must register for the event, and then after that you can send them an email with the "Add to Calendar" button included.
Hi rabi ghimrie,
Maybe you can create a new post in this forum with more details or screenshots in order to avoid confusion.
Have anyone successfully used this features? I tried it and the "add to calendar" disappears from email
Have you successfully used this in an email? When I use this feature, the button for "Add to Calendar" doesn't render in my email.
Hi Chad,
Please navigate to Settings > Other settings > Feature switches and enable the option “Updated email editing experience”.
If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

Hi Nya,
I've upgraded to the latest version of the Marketing app (1.35.10073.2005), but my screen looks different than yours. When I add a button, I only have the option to link to dynamic content or static content. No options for events are available.
Do you have any idea what might be the issue? I'm based in the US, for what that's worth. I'm flustered trying to find this!
Many thanks Nya
Hi Ian,
You need to add a button into the email first and the function can be found in the following location.
Then choose the event and adjust the text for the button.
If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.
Best Regards,
Nya
