Hello,

 I have problems with the cubes in Axapta 4.0.
 When I deploy to production level, I get an error and I can ax the OLAP server configuration
 The error is as follows:

 "One or more client components required to support the OLAP analysis is not installed on this computer for details on these components, aid administrators, see the report set OLAP"

 The AX 4.0 and SQL are installed on different servers

 Ax 4.0
 Windows server 2003 r2 enterprise edition service pack 2

 SQL SERVER 2005
 Windows server 2003 r2 enterprise edition service pack 2

 tell me what part I need and which server should I install it.
 Thank you.

    Hi,

    I supposed was missing the SQLserver features pack for elaborated and connecting to SSAS.

    Another thing about SQLserver 2008R2 : probably you'll add in your client dicetory the following file AX32.exe.config with this text inside

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>

    <configuration>

     <runtime>

       <generatePublisherEvidence enabled="false"/>

       <assemblyBinding xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1">

         <dependentAssembly>

           <assemblyIdentity name="Microsoft.AnalysisServices" publicKeyToken="89845dcd8080cc91" culture="neutral"/>

           <bindingRedirect oldVersion="0.0.0.0-9.9.0.0" newVersion="10.0.0.0"/>

         </dependentAssembly>

       </assemblyBinding>

     </runtime>

    </configuration>
