Greetings everyone,
Can anyone kindly share any info regarding release plans for AX 2012 R3 cumulative updates?
We have customers who need some regional hotfixes installed, but our usual procedure is installing the latest CU and then adding the necessary fixes, if they weren't included in the CU itself. Our customers are already on the latest version (February 2019 release), so we've been wondering: are there any release plans, should we wait a bit more and install the CU, or maybe there's something changed (due to current situation or for any other reason), no CUs are coming and we should download the hotfixes via LCS and install them separately? We were due to update in March, so it becomes kind of an issue for our customers.

I would really appreciate any assistance or information on this topic.

We were thinking the same way, but installing the CU after installing single hotfixes can be quite painful. We've had some issues before and we don't want to face them ever again. So I guess we just have to wait more.

I would certainly do that, however, we have no active support plan. If you have any knowledge on where I can get assistance on this matter without having to pay extra, I would really appreciate any suggestions.

Personally I have not seen any news about release plan of new CU in 2020 for AX 2012 R3 been announced as of now. As Sohaib said, nothing can be said about future.
I scanned through forum post and emails, I could not find any document to suggest the action plan in this scenario been released by Microsoft. Though, there is mainstream support end date been announced for AX 2012 products, refer following link;

Personally I would suggest to proceed with Hotfix installation as per business and customer requirement as there is no firm plan as of now.

I agree that there has been fixes after FEB update, but who knows whether there would be another release of CU or not or a monthly update. In my opinion, you should reach directly to MS via a support request, also please share your findings with us.
