Hi, I have a bespoke system that has a corruption within on of its journals so we are unable to post it to the ledger. I have indentified the bespoke table name where the information is being held but how do you or can you bring up a this table complete with all the data so I can look through the info see where the issue is? The error im trying to investigate is a entry line number already exsists so the number sequence is out of align.

Error message says "the job journal line already exists. Indentification fields  and values: journal template name='job, journal batch name='time',line no=40000"

Hello, You can bring up the table by using the development environment and by running the table from there, but don't modify the table directly, you can verify the data but never modify/delete/insert.  Regarding your error it could be a setup issue , send us the screenshot and we can help you identify the issue.

Hi Alex correct its just when I'm trying to post them entering them is fine, it's the time sheet system of Nav and yes it's been developed from the standard system, it's been working fine for 2 years.

This would be more helpful if you kindly post the screenshot with the error you are facing. There might be different reasons for that error, e.g. number of series mismatch.  Do I understand correctly that you are facing this error while posting the journal, but not while entering new lines?
