Issue with project cost budget

Hi All,

Iam using cost project. Initially we allocate the budget amount 133333 for CAT 1 for this cost project. When i try to post the transaction with amount "144599" with category "CAT 1" system

showing the error "This transaction causes the total cost budget for CAT 1 on Pro-1 to be exceeded by 1. The amount beyond the total budget will not be added to the remaining budget'

then I revised the budget with 760000. but still the issue same.

The project budget balances shows as follows

Hi Srikaanth,

where you get this error? In Purchase requisition or PO?

I think in Purchase requisition, system will so budget error line wise. So please check how many lines you have in Purchase requisition. if multiple lines then on which line budget shortage is there system will show error for that particular line. So check the details and let us know.

Hello srikaanth,

I had a look at LCS and found a number of hotifxes that are related to budget revisions.

Can you identify your system version (build no) and check yourself on LCS if this behavior is caused by a system bug?
