Sales Insights - Who knows whom setup without Exchange permission

Hi,

I am looking to setup Who knows whom in a test environment for my business to sample and test to see if we want to use Sales insights moving forwards. With this being a test setup I do not want to grant access to the M365 exchange emails server but, I cannot seem to setup Who knows whom in my test environment without Consent for exchange data. Does anyone know how to turn on the internal who knows whom without exchange data (i.e. using only stored emails and appointments ect to make the Who knows whom mapping.

This is all I get in the who knows whom section, there are already a number of activities set against the contact

I also get the below error message, but I cannot see this referred anywhere in any documentation any ideas on this one?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Josh,

    Based on the Microsoft documentation:

For Sales Enterprise users, the who knows whom information is populated based on the emails and meeting data in Dynamics 365.

For Sales Premium users, the information is populated based on Exchange data, provided your administrator has configured the integration.

If you don't want Dynamics 365 to collect your Exchange data, you can opt out of data sharing.

    Hi Leah,

Thank you for your response. My issue is that for Sales enterprise users the who knows whom information is not being populated based on the Dynamics data. I cannot seem to find anywhere in the MS documentation a step during the setup that I have missed any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Josh
