Linking Entities for a Quotation

Hello,

I'm fairly new to Dynamics and have a few questions around xml mapping entities in word templates.

I'm working with quote as a base

I want to include opportunity & contact information, I'm struggling to link them all.

Have tried -

QUOTE -

-- quote details

-- opportunity quotes

-- quote_customer_acounts

-- quote_customer_contacts

I can't get contact first and last name to pull through

Previoulsy I managed to get contact info with

QUOTE -

-- quote details

-- quote_customer_acounts

-- quote_contacts

--contact_quotes

but this has no opportunity and I have no idea how I did this because I can't find those entities to link them, so would also appreciate replies on how to link those last two options if you start with the quote entity.

Hi Charlie,

Maybe you can refer following steps to check your steps:

1.Download template in quote entity form:

2.Open the document to add fields you need.

(1)For Quote:

(2)For related entity:

Scroll down the list, expand the relationship you want and add fields you need.

Save and Upload the document.

Test:

In current quote--quote3(revise), Opportunity is opp11 and customer(contact) is Abraham McCormick.

Now, i download it with template that i just uploaded, then you can view following document:
