How to view source code in Dynamice 365 Finance and Operations?

Hi!

I have a customer that initially wants to read(not edit) the source code in their Dynamics365 Finance & Operations environment. Can anyone give me an step-by-step for dummies on this matter?

And do they need a license to do this?

How to view source code in Dynamice 365 Finance and Operations?

Moved to Dynamics 365 Finance forum.

What they want to do with code? Is it enough to see code in browser (which isn't very useful) or do they want to work with it in Visual Studio)? Do they want to see just customizations created for them (which are stored in version control) or also code of Microsoft (and third parties, if applicable)?
