Multiple currencies for same vendor

Hi,

In NAV 2015, are we able to post invoices and payments for a vendor in multiple currencies (without having to set up multiple vendor cards for each payment type)?  If so, how does this impact posting groups, reporting, AP aging reports, etc?

    On the vendor card, you can note a default currency for the vendor. If the field is left blank, then transactions will automatically default to the LCY. The user can always change the currency at the time of the transaction before it is posted. Bear in mind, all your GL transaction will be in LCY. Regardless what currency or exchange rate is used. If the vendor or customer uses multiple currencies, you must have the Currency Exchange rate table up to date. Hint.... If the user changes the currency at the time of transaction entry, there is a field with an ellipses that an exchange rate can be applied just for that transaction. Totally bypassing the exchange rate table.

    Lastly, you can run reports with a "Report Currency". It will reflect both the LYC and the currency associated with the vendor. But it can only accommodate one reporting currency.
