My boxes and buttons are not outlined in GP after a update.

    RE: Box and Button Display

Are you seeing this on all machines that you have Dynamics GP 2016 installed onto, or just one specific instance?

Does it occur for all users or just one?

If there are any third-party products or customization, as well as any additional technologies such as RemoteApp, Citrix, have you ruled those out?

Dynamics GP itself doesn't have any display settings, it uses those of the Windows OS that it is installed and running on.

Windows 10 has been where we've seen the most display issues in regards to Dynamics GP, mainly due to the additional of the new Scaling functionality that was introduced.

While we more commonly see issues with fonts and text in GP, not so much box and button displaying issues, I would start with making sure the Display settings on the machines seeing these display issues in GP are set to use the default/recommended DPI/size of text, apps and other items as well as resolution.

Another thing you can try, more commonly on client OS, is to right-click on ‘Microsoft Dynamics GP’ icon or shortcut, then go into ‘Properties’. In the GP Properties window, select the ‘Compatibility’ tab, then under ‘Compatibility Mode’, you can choose to make the compatibility Windows 7, 8 or 10.

Also, below this setting, mark the option ‘Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by: ‘ and set it to ‘Application. Click Apply and OK to save changes, then launch Dynamics GP on this workstation and see if the fonts show differently now.  (blog.gpug.com/change_display_settings_for_gp_in_windows_10)

Let us know what you find from the above and we can go from there.....

    Thanks
