Woodford - Show approved time off requests on the technician agenda

Hello,

Is there a way to show in the technicians agenda, within the mobile app, other entities than BRB? For example approved time off requests.

I know we cannot change the day, week and month view, but what about the agenda?

Thank you.

I have the same question (0)

One approach would be to create a Flow that upon inactivating (i.e. confirming) the time-off request creates a booking with the time-off details. Or enable the time-off entity for scheduling, this approach has been documented several times already. This booking would show in every calendar view in the FS App, with the additional benefit that a dispatcher would also see why someone is unavailable (not just a gray bar in the Gantt chart).

Yes we thought about that, but before doing so, we wanted to be sure we cannot show other entities within the agenda.

    Thanks Alexander.

As long as your entity has field for start and end date/time, you can display everything as a calendar/agenda, but AFAIK you cannot mix entities, i.e. your time-offs and your "other appointments" need to come from the same entity.

I wrote an article about this.  You can view it here:  https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/show-time-off-request-details-schedule-board-scott-lefante/

This will, if you setup the mobile app correctly, also allow it to be seen on their Bookings views.
