Hello,
i have created my excel template to give payment instruction to Bank @ Payment Vendor journal line.
The template is created and uploaded into document templates but i cannot see it in Open in Microsoft Ofiice icon drop down list.
Any idea?

Hi David,
When a template listed in the Common > Common > Office integration > Document templates form (DocuTemplate) has ShowInOpenInOfficeMenu set to Yes and has the same root datasource (table) as the current form, it will be added as an option in the Open in Excel section of the Open in Microsoft Office menu.

This setup is working for many forms, but not the journal forms. The journal forms do contain some business logic to show pre-defined templates. To be able to add a new one, you can customize the journal forms.
