Hello All,
I am having an issue with creating a user in Microsoft Dynamics GP and their web link login. Our user account is able to login into the site, but is met with an "unauthorized user" and is then unable to logout unless the cache and history is cleared from the IE web browser. Our accounts when created are tied to the Active Directory for a company, but I am unsure if we are missing a step that is causing this "unauthorized user" error. Would appreciate any assistance with this.

Hello Mike,
That sounds a lot like an issue with a different account being logged into IE.
For example, my @Microsoft email requires MFA for everything and that can get in the way, so I use a different address to test items within GP when MFA isn't needed (emailing, Web Services, ect.). I sometimes have to launch these as "In Private" to get a successful login, as otherwise my @Microsoft may be used.
If you are using the Web Client and not Web Services, then you also need to make sure that when prompted for login, that the Domain is included (the blocked out text ending in a\):
Without a domain, the login will fail almost every time. Thanks!
Hi Mike,
To add to what Justin was providing as help, make sure the domain user account you selected for that GP user is properly matched in the GP User Maintenance (2nd tab where you select the AD account), and that the user is defined as web-client only. Technically a full GP user should be able to logon thru the web too, but trying to eliminate possible side effects...
