How to block all employees from requesting sick leave

Hello everyone,

Here's the context : in our company, employee have sick leave however we do not want them to request sick leave via Dynamics HR.

The process is as follow :

  1. The employee sends an email to HR with the sick leave request and the justification document (manually)
  2. If HR approves the request, they create the leave period for the employee in Dynamics HR

Thus, I have two questions :

  1. How do we prevent employees registered on the sick leave plan to request sick leave ?
  2. How can HR request sick leave for other employees ?

    Hello Nina, 

    There isn't a specific setting in the application that would do this. You could create a conditional workflow that denies any/all requests made in by employee. You can read more about WF here. 
    HR staff can submit leave requests on behalf of the employees by navigating to Personnel management | Employees | Select employee | View time off | Request time off.
