Hi Anton,
No! there have no customization in this model we have. I have diagnose on PR level to and this occurred only on service Item and we haven't Purchase expenditure for service account in posting, due to our business req to make accounting distribution on multi level.
also you can found this error in purchase requisition by update main account in Financial Dimension in Purchase requisition Item detail and save, then again remove main account the following error will validate,
I have logged this issue/error to Microsoft Support and they working on it. please check in your environment if you have Financial Dimension - "Main Account" on Purchase Requisition, if you can do,

You will have to debug the code to find out why this is happening. Are there customisations involved here? What has changed?
