What is Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operation?

Hi,

Can anyone please explain me what is this Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operation? How it is different from Dynamics CRM 365 ? Which SDK i have to use if i want to connect to Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations? Can i use the same which i am using for Dynamics CRM 365?

Hi,

I don't have much idea on this but earlier For Ax (which is operation now) X++ was used for development but I think with the latest release you can use visual studio for the development dev.goshoom.net/.../ax7-development-tools-without-vm

I will suggest you to post operation and finance specific question to their forums

Thank you so much for your response. One thing i want to confirm is that if i have a C# windows service application which is using SDK to connect to Dynamics CRM 365 can i use the same app to connect to Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations?

Hi,

Finance and Operation are different apps for ERPs, earlier we used to have different application but now these also part of Dynamics 365 family, they have their own SDK: docs.microsoft.com/.../fin-and-ops
