Error while importing data from excel 2016 to NAV 2018 - RapidStart

I have try imported data from excel 2016 in NAV 2018. Now when I try to use the option "import from excel" for a table in the configuration package following error occurred:

"A DotNet variable has not been instantiated. Attempting to call MapInfo in CodeUnit Config. Excel Exchange: ExtractXMLSchema".

I have seen other people who had the same thing, but with excel 2016 and nav 2009.

Anyone know about this error please reply.

Hi,

Probably, the structure of the excel file did change.

Best is, after exporting to an excel file, to modify only the data itself. Don't add new columns or spreadsheets.

This is an error due to a change in Excel files format in Rapidstarr from previous versions.

As Hannes suggest, try to recreate the Excel file template by exporting from the package, load the data to import in the new excel file and import them.
