Good evening everyone!
The last weeks I have been busy with an in place upgrade from AX2012 R1 CU5 to R3.
Unfortunately the slipstreamed CU11 was not installed automatically for some reason, so I first upgraded the code to R3 RTM.
After all was fine, I started the upgrade to CU11. I used the hotfix installer, which downloads all hotfixes for cu11.
After some minutes of installing, I get a message that the installer encountered an error (with a red square box) and it advises me to review the log file. When I do that I see nothing specific... only this on the end:

When I check the models in AX, many hotfixes have been installed. Also application was updated to a newer build. Kernel number is still on RTM, but I think that that's because the CU11 is installed as hot fixes.
When I compile security priveledges I get many errors that components are missing (from tables to services, to menu items etc):
Is this a common issue? It does not feel comfortable to continue with the upgrade based on an error. Also it seems that many SYP components are missing.
What would be the best approach?
