I created a web service in AX 2012. I now added a new method to this web service. But how do I get this new method to be visible in my ASP.Net web site project?

Right-click the service reference is Solution Explorer and choose Update Service Reference.
I did that but my new method still does not appear.
I figured it out. I had to run the Redploy service group in AX.
It likely means that the operation isn't contained in the WSDL, therefore you're solving a wrong problem. Review the WSDL to be sure whether I'm right.
What type of service do you use and how did you add the operation? Please check whether the operation exists in the service (under AOT > Services). Also redeploy the port, if you haven't done it.
Yes, the redeploy was the problem. I did this and then did the update in VS like you suggested and it worked. Thanks for your help.
