Hi All ,

As we all know that we can attach the documents of Word , PDF , Images against the masters , journals , documents ( PO / SO ) .

For example i am creating the journal and attached the scanned vendor invoice , that document should be approved by the my manager . when i submit for approval , when manager open the journal , how does he come to know that any attachment is attached or not to the journal ?

Is there any identification available whether the attachment is available or not  against the journal ( without clicking the attachment button )

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Violaine,

    Great. It is working fine.

The attached document status is displaying in the status bar of the form (bottom of the form).

    Thanks,

    Hari

    Hello,

You can select the option " show attachment status" in the user options.

Go to Files > Tools > Options > General tab > Miscellaneous > Document Handling

When a document is attached to a journal (or other) the attachment button is highlighted.

    Hi Lally,

Your question is very good. But, there is no option to intimate the documents are attached or not.

    1. You have to intimate in description section like "Documents attached, please refer".

    2. Otherwise you have to customize (There are some options to customize)

    Thanks,

    Hari
