My predecessor had setup AP HATB report in a way, where payables would run it and when saved to file they would be able to open it in crystal report and export it to excel. Somehow that got removed and now it doesn't work. I have tried saving it in .rpt or csv or txt but nothing works. I tried running that report from crystal reports, but I don't understand what values to put in and it gives connection error even though it is connected to the database. Attached are the pictures. Please help if you can, I'm new to Dynamics GP10 and Crystal reports and i am not able to find enough resources online for help. Thank you
If Crystal can read a tab delimited file you could try that. Crystal reads rpt files. Perhaps saving a text file with an rpt extension might work. I haven't used Crystal decades so I am guessing.
