I have set up a customer journey flow for when participants registrate for an event using an online form.. but what if I manually registrate them in the event management tool, how do I then ensure they become part of the customer journey?
I believe I can set it up by creating a segment for everyone registrated for the event, but thats an additional step and I'm not the one to manage the events so it needs to be as smooth as possible. Can I set up a trigger for the customer journey that is "when a participant is added to the event" without having to set up a segment?

You can set the segment something like the following.
It can filter out the contacts in the new registrations created in the past day.
