Outlook Server is POP

GP 2013 server preference is set to MAPI.

Tried the Exchange server which was invalid.

Checked the Outlook is set as default mail client.

Email tool still doesn't work. Any ideas?

I would be interested to know answer to this question. I am having the same situation. Client is on Outlook 2007 and all users are connected to Terminal Server but the email is configured on their local machine. How to configure?

    R1012,

MAPI only works if you have the 32-bit version of Outlook installed.

AndreaIES, Outlook will also be needed on the Terminal Server for the users to send email using MAPI

    Thanks Ian.

Assuming the Outlook is 32-Bit for MAPI to work and we have Outlook installed on Terminal Server. My understanding is that with MAPI, the outlook window opens with the GP document attached, right? Which account needed to be configured at the server? Would it take the user's account from the local user? I appreciate your reply.

Andrea it depends on how you have the Terminal Server setup. If users log directly into the Terminal Server as their windows account then GP is going to use the Outlook profile for that user. If you are using a RDP then it would do the same from the Terminal Server. Essentially GP is just going to ask Outlook what profile it can use or which is opened.
