Issue in Financial Reports

Hi everyone,

 

I am facing an issue while trying to view financial reports in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The system shows the following error:

"This report can't be displayed.

Make sure that you are set up as a user. Make sure you can sign in.

Otherwise, work with your administrator to get set up as a user."

 

I already have the system admin, and this issue was not occurring before it started recently.

 

Has anyone experienced this issue or knows a possible fix?

    Hi,
     
    Since you’ve already verified the access, please try refreshing and check again—it may be a sync issue. If the error persists, please verify that the Financial Reporter service is active in your tenant.

    Thnaks for the reply @Bharath jain. This issue appears to be specific to my user, as other users are not experiencing it. I have also cleared the usage data multiple times and verified, but the issue still persists.

    Could you please confirm which environment this issue is occurring in PROD/UAT?
    Also, has anything changed recently, such as:
    • Environment refresh
    • Email/UPN change
    • User deletion and recreation

    Hi Rashid,

    Can you tell us if more users were added to Dynamics 365 and also got permissions as a system administrator or finance roles with access to Financial reporter?

    Hello,

    This is likely a synchronization issue between production and the management report.
    Access is role-based. The roles are assigned in the Management Report according to the ones you have in D365FO.
     
    Try asking someone who already has access to the Management Report whether you are included in it.
     
    If it production you can ask to Microsofot to give support assistance about the reset for the data: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/fin-ops/analytics/when-to-reset-data-mart.
     
    Or as indirect solution, you can try from LCS to restart the services:

    If feasible, I would recommend deleting your user account and recreating it with the role currently assigned to your user.

    Thanks for the reply. 

    There are multiple users with System Administrator rights, and several users from the Accounts and Finance department also have access to Financial Reports. However, the issue appears to be specific to my users only. I have checked with multiple other users, and the issue is not persisting there.

    This issue is occurring in the production environment, and previously it was not happening for my user. I will check the points you have mentioned, including verifying access in the Management Report.

    This is not feasible to delete user.
