I had a problem in Mix & Match discount in Dynamics365 and I found a solution of it and I liked to share it with you; actually I do not know if it is a real problem or not but when I talked with many colleagues they told me it would not work.
I had an offer which is buy 2 0% & get 1 100% Discount for the /least expensive one/
The problem when a customer decided to take 6 pieces from the offer the system calculate wrongly on the least expensive !!! as the system did not calculate the least 2 expensive items 100%, the system calculate randomly.
Solution:
- I added the list of those items in /Supplemental retail hierarchy/ to facilitate the application process
- I applied the following regular setting:
- Discount concurrency mode : Exclusive
- Price/discount - Calculation Type : Least expensive & for least expensive lines 1 & 100 Percentage off
- The main change to apply the solution is to choose from Multiple occurencies mode : Favor retailer
- The line group to be 3 for 3 pieces
- The above works very fine if the customers decided to buy 3 pieces only, picture below
- To apply the solution of 6 pieces
- I made the above settings for 3 on a new discount journal with 6 pices
- Least expensive lines 2 & 100 Percentage off
- Multiple occurencies mode : Favor retailer
- The line group to be 6 for 6 pieces

Accordingly you could apply more journals as per the expected customers purchase behaviour and also according to the strong of the promotion you are going to do.
