Cannot change the price in unit price field in purchase order

Cannot change the Unit Price field in a Purchase Order.

Note: 'Allow price' is enabled at the item level, and the Purchase Order is in draft status.

Has anyone faced this issue before?"

Thank you in advance.

    Hi,

In your 2nd screenshot the switch is in the fast tab "SELL" (1) and therefore, refers to the sales price, not the purchase price. Therefore I dont think the switch does anything in that case.

Could you check if the Latest purchase price (2) is set to true and if the price (3) is NOT 0? I am wondering if the latest purchase price is only giving a default, or locking it in. Maybe there is a parameter that defines that.
Try to change the price (3) and insert the item again, I d like to see if the price is being defaulted.

    Kind regards, Adis

    Hi,

You are watching the Sell set ups of Item and try to create Purchase order. You need to check the Purchase set ups of an Item for creation of Purchase order. As Adis suggested, could you please check the set ups shown by him in his reply?

    Thanks.

    Thanks for your replies.

I tried the suggestion you provided. When I change the purchase price tab at the item level, the price appears in the Unit price field. However, the issue is that I am unable to edit the Unit price field—it is locked. This issue occurs across all vendors and all items, so I believe it is not related to the item level specifically.

It’s possible that a feature or setting is causing the field to be locked and not editable.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Hi,
Strange behavior...usually there is no setup for this.

Could you please check under 1 if the unit price is locked?
I see that your view, under 2, is not a standard view.

    Kind regards, Adis
