Management Report - pull sales quantity into P&L

Hi All,

Is there a way that I can pull the sales quantity into the Income Statement? I saw a thread in the community about excel add-in.

To get the total "Sold" quantity, is there a report that shows beginning inventory + new purchase inventory - ending inventory = sold?  What about the unit conversion?

    Hello Kim,

Management Reporter is probably not the best tool for quantity based recording as Andre mentioned.

Theoretically you can do that either with the Excel integration or by posting the quantities separately on statistical accounts that you can analyze in MR.

This does, however, involve a lot of additional work and I feel that the standard reports and BI tools are better suited for that.

    About your report:

The inventory value report can show you the quantity sold through sales orders in a separate column. For that purpose, you have to enable the "COGS" checkbox in the inventory value report configuration window.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Kim,

MR is for financial reporting and doesn't account inventory quantities within financial reporting. As no qty, so no unit conversion either.

    Hi Kim,

There is  customer/item statistics report which can show the sold quantities together with the turnover. Why do you want to combine quantities on your income statement? The quantities sold for e.g. DVD players cannot be compared/cumulated with e.g. charging cables.
