Hello,
Document Type: Shows the Document Type that the entry belongs to. The field can be filled in from the following fields:
If the entry was posted from a journal line, the document type is copied from the Document Type field on the journal line. If the entry was posted from an order, invoice or credit memo, the document type is copied from the Document Type field on the sales or purchase header.
Source Type: The field displays the type of ledger entry that is the source for this entry. If the field is blank, the source is a G/L account ledger entry.
