Managing partner signing process

In the business I work for, we sell it systems through a partner channel program on international markets.

Building the partner channels is therefore not only about leads, opportunities and sales pipelines/processes, but also about signing the right partners on each market. Therefore, we have a partner signing pipeline of four steps (in many ways similar to our opportunity process).

I am working on finding the right setup in our MS Dynamics CRM that can handle not only opportunities, but also the partner signing process. But is it possible and how?

So far my research has brought no answers.
