Broken links to update Dynamics AX 2012 mobile applications and its related components to allow continuity after ACS deprecation

Hello,

I'm struggling at finding the correct information to update Dynamics AX 2012 mobile applications and its related components according to the document here : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=36776

It actually contains a broken link https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink.LinkID=286321 which i found to be https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=286321. I was looking for a way to let someone know and got redirected many times until I just let go. Probably need to open a support request on LCS...

When I followed the link, I got to page of the hotfix 2877944. Clicked on the Hot fix download button and that link is no longer available.

Another blog post : https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/28683831/Error-while-opening-windows-8-1-Approval-Application-for-Microsoft-Dynamics-AX.html mentions this link as well but I cant seem to be able to get a hold of it. 

Does anyone know if this hotfix has been superseeded and which update do I need to install to be able to migrate my mobile applications to using SAS?

    Hi Andre,

    We are currently running R3 RTM with some hotfixes. If this update involves being on the latest release then we're looking at much more work than simply installing a hotfix. I'll have to take that in account.

    Hi,

    If it is correct, the fix is also part of AX 2012 R2 CU7 or higher. What exact version are you running? Note that the mainstream support has ended for AX 2012 R2. You can view the latest available versions on the next page: https://aka.ms/axbuild

    Hi André Arnaud,

    That's exactly the same document containing the same error :

    And even though I have found the correct link :  https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=286321  this redirects me to another url : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2877944/hotfix-2877944-is-available-to-provide-services-to-run-the-windows-8-a . 

    The hotfix download button on that page is unavailable. What do I need to download to update Dynamics AX to be able to use the updated mobile applications?

    Hi Dnkroz,

    The link you were looking after was based on a connection based on ACS. ACS will be retired as of Februari 4, 2019. Have a look at the next blog for a replacement based on SAS. blogs.technet.microsoft.com/.../dynamics-2012-acs-final-update

    It contains a link to new documentation.
