    Hi Michael Adam,

We are not aware what this batch job is actually doing, so it's probably impossible to say what to improve.

Anyway you have tools like trace parser blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/.../walk-through-major-features-of-microsoft-dynamics-ax-2012-trace-parser-part-1 that could tell you exactly what is happening, what operations are heaviest so you will be able to identify  bottleneck and and address them. Or at least provide additional details to us and we will be able to give you some help.

You should measure what takes all the time. Tracing / Trace Parser is usually a good starting point.

If your batch job is single threaded (only have 1 batch task), it does not matter how many batch AOS instances you have, will only execute on 1. Without explaining your situation better, we will not be able to assist you with better recommendations other than what you already got: Trace your code server-side, then check if code execution due to bad design, or SQL statements due to too complex joins, bad indexing, or lack of resources (CPU/RAM/disk io bottleneck) is the reason for taking it too much time.

    Hi ievgen,

The batch job is created using Sysoperation framework. In sysoperation service controller class the main method is commented so it might me a reason for long execution?

    Hey Michael Adam,

You have 3 persons saying the same - do a trace, see what takes so long. It doesn't really matter if it's a runbasebatch or Sysoperation you can have "bad" code anywhere.

If you really want to get help you need to give us a much details as you have and describing some bits of pieces of your code is not a best way to go.
