
I have just enabled the Yammer connectivity in a D365 Model Driven App.
If I follow a Dynamics contact and open Yammer then I can create a Yammer message which is visible in the Yammer timeline both in D365 and also in native Yammer.
If I view the message in native yammer, it does have the Contact details which is a clickable link back to Dynamics. So far so good!
However, if I start in native Yammer, and create a new message which is not part of a pre-existing thread, is there any way of 'tagging' that message with a D365 contact in the same way as I could synch an Outlook email with that contact using the App for Outlook?

We don't have any OOB option to track new conversation from Yammer to Dynamics 365.

We can leverage Power Automate to automate the process with Dynamics 365 and Yammer. However for most scenario when we create record they are used to post it in Yammer.
Examples like
When a new opportunity is created post to Yammer
When an opportunity is won in Dynamics 365 post it to a Yammer group
