    Hi,

You have used a scrap disposition action ?

Your item seems to be active for the location. It seems the location is missing. Can you check on the return order if the location is filled and also in the associated returned sales order?

    Hi

    Thanks for quick reply

Yes, we are using scrap disposition

Yes, the location in the storage dimension is set on both the return order line and the sale order line

    Thank you

    Simon

I think your quarantaine order 73B is empty for the location.

    Check that.

For avoiding that, please use the warehouse item form to have a default value

    Hi

It seems that Quarantine Management is set up for the item  which is returned. So a quarantine order is generated for the scrap. and Also in the Location is active in the Storage Dimension.

Try to enter the location for the Returned order in the inventory Dimension and handle the Quarantine Order.

    Regards

    Adineh

    Hi Simon,

For some mad reason, AX uses Quarantine orders to Scrap items during the Returns process. Have you created a Warehouse of type Quarantine and set it as the 'Quarantine warehouse' on your main warehouse?

    Hi Yohann

    Thanks for the reply.

73B is not created when I go to look at Quarantine orders.

Unfortunately when you say "please use the warehouse item form to have a default value" I do not understand what you mean

    Thank you

    Hi Ludwig

It never gets to the stage of producing the Quarantine Order in order for me to show you

    Thank you

If you create a dummy location in the Quarantine warehouse and set this location as the 'Default receipt' and 'Default issue' location on the quarantine warehouse setup, does that help?
