Recommended security role(s) for support personnel

What are the recommended roles(s) for support folks and partners? I don't think they should have SysAdmin. Are there any roles that will let them provide end user support without letting modify everything and anything they want?

    PS. In AX2012, the security administrator is able to grant access to the system administrator role. This has been changed in Dynamics 365.

    Like Girish mentioned, you would need to define what such user should be able to do in the environment. If it is about monitoring and managing workflow, you can consider assigning the Information Technology manager role. In case the user should create new users and assign roles, you can provide the Security administrator role. This last mentioned role can't add the system administrator role to other users or himself.
     
    For any other use case, you would need to create custom roles. When building an own limited administrator role, ensure you keep segregation of duties in mind.

    Hi,
     
    It totally depends on what the partner needs or you will have to decide what are all the forms that the partner will see.
    There are no such standard roles available for partner or support staffs etc.
