Custom Dashboards not showing up for users with sales licenses

I'm having an issue with custom dashboards not showing up for sales users, when I go to this screen and use the option marked as 1:

I get access to the custom dashboards:

However when I hit option 2 on the first screen with the same user I only get these dashboards:

The custom dashboards have their permissions set to be available to everyone, and according to the licensing guide Sales people should be able to access the custom dashboards in the sales app. How do we get these dashboards to show up for these users?

I think you will need to add it to the Sales App's dashboards configuration. Try these steps as a system administrator

Navigate to Settings -> Application -> My Apps (at the right hand side)

The system should display all App's for your instance

In the Sales app click the ... option then in the dropdown OPEN IN APP DESIGNER

In the right hand side of the new window select Dashboards

It should display a list of Dashboards with some of them 'selected'

Set your new Dashboard as selected

At the top right click Save then Publish

Reload the App and it should now display in the Dashboard dropdown
