You cannot save a credit card number for the card ID. Contact your expense administrator.

Hi.

I'm trying to add a credit card number to one of our employees and when I save the record I get this error message:

You cannot save a credit card number for the card ID. Contact your expense administrator.
Can someone help me understand what's wrong and what should I do to get this number in the system?

    Hello Robert,

    Please try to check the parameter of "Enter employee credit card number" in Expense management > Setup > General > Expense management parameters

    Hi Robert,

    Please check your Expense management parameters screen as shown below:

    If the highlighted parameter is set to "Prevent card number entry" and the credit card number is valid as per Luhn algorithm, the system will show the error you are getting. You can change the parameter to mitigate the issue.
