Hi all
We're experiencing an issue with regards to Dynamic Pivot Tables.
Prior to a yet to be determined event, the following steps worked:
User with 'Export To Excel' permissions creates a Dynamic Pivot Table on a customised Entity
The Excel document is saved and distributed to a CRM User WITHOUT 'Export to Excel' permissions
This user opens Excel document (on a regular basis), refreshes and is presented with the latest cut of that data
Around the start of February, we started to receive Incidents advising us that this had stopped working. The final step is now:
This user opens Excel document, refreshes, gets an error on the pivot table, goes to the data sheet which is blank but in cell A1 is the error "script is disabled".
I'm being advised that the recipient user needs the Client (always did have it) but also needs the 'Export to Excel' permission.
As a test, my colleague and I created a VM where we had latest Client, and a user set up as per the affected business user. We replicated the error
I granted 'Export to Excel' permissions but we still had the error
Granting full Sys Admin permissions resolves the problem.
It appears that an update somewhere within the O365 estate has broken this, and the only current known fix is applying Sys Admin permissions.
Any ideas?
