Hi,

I need an appropriate solution that in ax2012 when i have multiple lines in the salesorder , then while confirmation , the selected line must be posted not all.

  • First AR --> All sales order --> pick any sales order --> and open the lines of that order  --> click on the Sales Order Confirmation

  • In the lines there are showing all lines of that particular sales order , if we click on OK , it will be confirm all.
  • But my requirement in the sales line , we can confirm those which is selected by user without removing the existing sales line.

    Hi Sam,

There is no option to partly confirm a sales order. If you need to confirm only some lines, you need to create separate orders. What is the business requirement to deviate from the standard intended behavior?

    Hi Sam,

Please help your client understand the standard intended behavior. When I order goods, I would like to have a confirmation with all the goods listed. When there is not enough inventory, I can understand that there will be a partial delivery. But never, it would be a normal situation to get a partly confirmed sales order.

So, what is the exact business reason for "post only selected record" when confirming a sales order? The words "A client need" is not a business scenario.
