How to make out of an item no. a barcode?

Hey guys,

I have a item no in my sales shipment lines.

Now I would like to show this item no not by text, but by a barcode.

Therefore I have downloaded the font code 128 for my docker container.

I have restarted the docker container, after the installation of the font was succesfully.

I have changed the font type of the item no in code 128.

And when I run the report it looks like this:

So all fields in the report are now barcodes...

Do you know how to solve this?

Hi

My example below are from SaaS environment which we only can use 39 font. I think you need 2 lines of Item No in same cell. One that set for barcode and another with normal font. See below example

We have 2 lines of Item No. in the same cell of table. The first is using 39 font and the second is just the normal font.

And from where do I get your font?

In report builder I cannot find your font.

Sorry, my example was from Word Template Report. I think for report builder you need a different guideline. I hope something like below help

I have change the Font on reports to print a Barcode vs. Text. In RDLC I opened the report and change the Font Properties. As MahGah noted, I like using the Font39 (attached).

Hello Steve,

I have installed your fonts (all files) in my docker container and restarted it. But when I open the report builder, I cannot find them. Do I have to install them also locally? If yes, will it be enouh to install only one file? What you have sent to me consists of many files.

So now I can use your fonts, but the problem is furthermore that all fields are printed as barcodes...so do you knwo how to solve this? All fields are suddenly barcodes, but I need only the item no. as a barcode.

Now, unfortunately, another bad behavior shows up, and that is that I have now simply printed a standard report and this is also now completely displayed with barcodes. I have now gone through my own reports as well as some standard reports and all of them are now displayed as barcodes, although I have only changed a certain field in one of my reports to the font code 128?! How can this be? How can one field affect all reports?

Malue,

I have never heard of all reports, even all fields, changing the Font when not directed too. I normally load the Font locally, since I am not using a Docker container to run my BC Sandboxes. Maybe one of the Tech/Programmers on the Forum can advise why this happened.
