I am working on testing the new 2012 R3 system for one of our clients.. but cannot receive the items.

I have setup posting for inventory model group for purchasing and inventory. The client has a very basic setup and does not do any warehouse processes

Can anyone point me the right direction please?

    And the issue you have is that the Product receipt button is greyed out?

    You must Confirm the PO before you can receive or invoice it. This is mandatory on POs in AX 2012. Have you done this?

    Dear,

    Purchase order process is as follows.

    1. PO Confirmation (Mandatory)

    2. Receipt List (Optional)

    3.Product Receipt (Mandatory(Some How for specific scenario))

    4. Invoice (Mandatory)

    If you have R3 warehouse process then the process will be different.

    For PO posting minimum setup required

    1. vendor

    2. Item (UOM,Storage Dimension, Tracking Dimension, Item Model Group, )

    3. Posting Profile (Vendor and Item)

    4. Some parameter (AP, Proc, GL)

    5. Site and warehouse minimum.
